In order to deeply learn from the recent major fire accidents in the province, fully implement the work requirements of higher authorities on production safety, draw inferences from one case, and strengthen the enterprise's production safety defense line, on July 16, Liao Zhenglou, Executive Deputy Mayor of Yong'an City, led the fire department and relevant township officials to conduct a special safety supervision and inspection at Yong'an Lianhuashan Natural Spices Co., Ltd. The company's General Manager Chen Ruishi, Deputy General Manager Chen Ruguang, and relevant workshop managers accompanied the entire process.
The inspection team first visited the company's storage area to inspect the stacking of finished products and raw materials on site. Deputy Mayor Liao Zhenglou inquired in detail about the implementation of the company's daily safety management system, with a focus on checking whether emergency exits and passageways were kept clear and unobstructed. During the inspection, Liao emphasized that enterprises must always stay vigilant on safety, resolutely prevent goods from being randomly piled up and blocking passages, and ensure that personnel can evacuate quickly in emergencies.
Subsequently, the inspection team went deep into the production front line and conducted detailed checks on key areas such as the refrigeration workshop (cold storage). The inspectors carefully examined the operating condition of cold storage equipment and the safety of surrounding electrical wiring, ensuring no corners were left unchecked. Regarding minor hazards discovered during the inspection, Deputy Mayor Liao put forward rectification suggestions on the spot, requiring the enterprise to immediately rectify and implement safety responsibilities down to every link.
During the subsequent discussion and exchange, the inspection team had an in-depth discussion with the company's management and frontline backbone staff on production process safety. Regarding the spacing issue between the existing creosote packaging area and the raw material area, General Manager Chen Ruishi and Workshop Director Lu Yong, combining professional technology and practical production experience, made detailed reports and responses to the inspection team. Deputy General Manager Chen Ruguang also stated that the company would strictly follow the inspection team's guidance to analyze and summarize, further optimize the plant layout, and improve emergency plans. Safety Officer Xu Dong promised to strictly implement daily patrol inspection systems to ensure all safety measures are effectively implemented.
This city leadership-led inspection was not only a comprehensive physical examination of the enterprise's production safety work but also a re-mobilization and re-education for all employees.
