Pingxiang Township Women's Federation Joins Hands with Lotus Mountain Natural Fragrance Co. to Host "Music Heals the Heart" Family Mental Health Workshop

To promote mental well-being among enterprise employees and rural families and explore a collaborative "enterprise + community" mental health service model, on September 28, 2025, the Pingxiang Township Government Women's Federation, in collaboration with Yong'an Lotus Mountain Natural Fragrance Co., Ltd., hosted a family mental health workshop titled "Using Music to Hear the Warmth of Home" in the company’s conference room.
Organized by the township Women's Federation and supported by Lotus Mountain, the event brought psychological wellness directly to the workplace—transforming a corporate meeting space into a sanctuary for emotional connection. Nearly 50 participants attended, including company staff, township officials, and village representatives.
Certified Level-2 Psychological Counselor Ms. Lin Wenxiu led an engaging, music-centered session. Starting with a “First Encounter with Music,” she guided attendees to close their eyes and feel the emotional ripples of different melodies. In the “Music Decoded” segment, she revealed the science behind how rhythm and harmony influence the brain and emotions. During the “Music Therapy in Practice” portion, participants experienced stress relief and interpersonal connection through group humming and rhythmic exercises. Finally, the “Practical Guide” focused on everyday family life, offering actionable tips on using music to ease parent-child tension, strengthen marital bonds, and comfort elderly family members.
Free of dry lectures, rich in emotional resonance, the workshop blended scientific insight with experiential learning. It not only equipped participants with practical tools for emotional well-being but also set a new benchmark for mental health collaboration between enterprises and rural communities. The Pingxiang Women's Federation affirmed its commitment to continue partnering with local organizations to build accessible, heartfelt mental wellness initiatives—letting the fragrance of well-being, much like natural essential oils, gently permeate every household.
